My kids argue over who gets the purple octopus one every time, and peeling the little layers keeps them busy for a solid ten minutes before they even eat it. The animal shapes are detailed enough that it's actually harder to peel than I expected, which is oddly satisfying.
The gummy animals are so fun to peel apart that my kids forget they're eating candy until halfway through the bag. Texture is soft and chewy, not sticky at all, which makes snack time way less messy than I expected.
My two-year-old actually sits still for five whole minutes peeling these animals apart before eating them—the two-layer gummy texture is surprisingly satisfying. They're soft enough for little teeth but sturdy enough to survive the peeling process. Great snack for road trips or bribing toddlers.
