The Mesh Ball by Ja-Ru is a simple, classic toy that invites active play. Its open mesh design makes it easy to grab, toss, and catch, whether indoors or out.
The open mesh grips so well that my kid can catch it one-handed even when it's coming in fast, which surprised me. We've been playing catch in the living room and it hasn't knocked anything over yet because it's so light.
The mesh weave is so open that even my five-year-old can grab it one-handed mid-air, which makes indoor toss games way less frustrating. It's light enough to lob across the living room without knocking anything over, yet still flies true outside. We've already used it three times today.
It's lightweight enough that my toddler can lob it across the yard, but sturdy enough for a decent adult toss. We've been playing catch indoors without any broken lamps, which is a win.
