The paint job on this little Shelby is surprisingly detailed for the price, and the diecast body has a nice heft to it. My son’s been launching it down the hallway for a week straight and the pull-back mechanism still snaps strong every time.
The little 5-inch body has a nice weight to it, feels solid in the hand. The pull-back action sends it zipping across the floor, though it tends to veer a bit to the left. A fun little piece for the price, perfect for a quick desk race.
The pull-back mechanism is surprisingly punchy for a five-inch car—it skids across our kitchen tile every single time. My only gripe is the front wheels don’t roll freely when I push it by hand, but for the price, it’s a solid little shelf piece.
